The healthy habits

Being healthy is not something you get automatically just by clapping on your fingertips. It’s actually something difficult to achieve and the only way to get it, it’s to commit yourself 100%. You need to truly believe in your convictions and work hard to get to the top.

You don’t have to be a specialist to know that the main things you need to do is having a healthy nutrition and do physical activities.

Of course, before putting yourself on it, you absolutely need to get informed about the healthy habits you need to have, so here’s a little list that shows you the main good habits to adopt.

The healthy habits :
1. Sleep

There’s no secret! Sleep is what keeps your brain working adequately and maintaining a good emotional being. In fact, it’s what helps you keeping daytime performance. When you sleep well and in the right time you are able to decrease the risk of obesity and to maintain a healthy balance of your hormones. Without a doubt, sleep in one of the most important habit to adopt when you follow your needs and a right timing. Let me remind you that you need to sleep at least 8-9 hours if you’re a teenager and 6-7 hours if you’re adult.
2. Wake up early!
What can I say, ‘’the world belongs to those who wake up early’’! When you wake up early, you gain more time. So it makes you more proactive in your work and you find time to relax, enjoy life and get active.
3. Eat healthy
a) Stop restaurants and make your own recipes. Be creative and have fun! Watch some cooking shows so you can learn some new healthy recipes. Impress your loved ones and show them that you’re the BOSS of the kitchen!! If you’re younger, it’s not a problem. Try some easy healthy recipes. However, this will prevent you from eating the unhealthy food from the restaurants and gives you some time to spend for yourself. Also, by cooking your own food, you know exactly what they are made of.

b) At the grocery store, try some new food that are well rated and don’t be afraid to buy some fruits and vegetables. Leave the frozen food and go for things that are fresh and healthy.

c) It’s very important to consult your nutritionist, so you can get professional advice and get deeper  into your health care.
4. Drink a lot of water

Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day to have a beautiful skin and enhance your learning process. So next time, don’t forget your bottle of water behind! ;)
5. Breakfast

It’s so important to take a good breakfast in the morning. You need to take all the good energy that you need for the day. Not taking breakfast is the perfect way for you to eat unhealthy all the day.  They say that we need to breakfast like a king, have dinner like a prince and have supper like a beggar.

6. Snacks

It’s always better to limit our snack breaks to our needs and to take healthy snacks.

7. Get Active

Try to take the time to do some physical exercise. Also, even if it’s winter time, do some walking even if it’s just for 15 minutes. You can also go shopping to do your walking if it’s too cold outside. The most important thing is too find little ways like that to get active while still doing your usual activities.

8. Stay optimistic ! :)

I just want to remind you that you don’t need to feel lonely during this whole process because I’m with you all the way! I actually applied this to myself and still try to maintain my good habits.  I have to say that it’s not always easy as it seems and I have my moments where I am tempted by those unhealthy foods that seem so delicious. Nevertheless, I always keep in mind that healthy food doesn’t need to be distasteful, it’s all about being creative and open minded. As for sport, it’s the same story. You need to find time and ambition. Make sure to do something you actually enjoy. Otherwise, you would easily give up.

I wish you good luck and always keep in mind that moderation is the key! ;)

Stay bright!!
